SMS Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the Coding Captain Alerts text-messaging program operated by Coding Captain, a product of Blackshore Technologies. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages from us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Program description

When you give us your mobile number and check the box consenting to text messages, you are enrolling in Coding Captain Alerts. We use it to send you account and service messages related to the request you submitted — for example, confirming we received your project inquiry, scheduling or confirming a call with an operator, updates on the status of work in progress, and occasional information about Coding Captain products and events.

Messages are sent by Coding Captain or by the operator assigned to your project. We do not send text messages to numbers that have not opted in.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You will receive up to 6 messages per month.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Coding Captain does not charge you for the text messages in this program, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them, depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure what your plan covers.

5. How to stop the messages

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. We will send a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will receive no further messages from Coding Captain Alerts.

These keywords all opt you out: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.

If you want to rejoin later, opt in again through a Coding Captain form, or email us at support@codingcaptain.com.

6. How to get help

Reply HELP or INFO to any message and we will reply with instructions and a way to reach us. You can also email support@codingcaptain.com at any time, whether or not you are enrolled.

7. Carriers are not liable

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network and on your device, neither of which we control. We cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered, or delivered on time. Supported carriers may change without notice.

8. Your privacy

The mobile number you give us is used to run this messaging program and to contact you about your request — nothing else.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers (such as our messaging carrier) strictly for the purpose of delivering the messages you asked for.

For the full picture of what we collect and why, read our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the program changes. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised, and the current version always lives at https://codingcaptain.com/sms-terms. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, reply STOP.
